Magnum 4D Result Card Fields Explained

Magnum 4D Result Card Fields Explained

By Ricky Lee · 12 September 2026

What does a Magnum 4D result card actually show?

A Magnum 4D result card shows the draw number, the draw date, and the 23 winning numbers for that draw. Those 23 numbers are split across five prize tiers: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize, Special (10 numbers) and Consolation (10 numbers). Every published Magnum draw uses this same layout.

Every Magnum 4D result published on this site follows one fixed structure. At the top sits the identifying information: the draw number and the draw date. Below that sits the result itself, which is always 23 four-digit numbers arranged into five tiers.

The layout does not change from draw to draw. A Wednesday result card looks the same as a Sunday result card. Once you understand where each field sits, you can read any Magnum 4D result at a glance, including archived draws pulled up through the historical results tool.

It helps to separate two things. The header fields tell you which draw you are looking at. The tier block tells you what was drawn. People new to 4D often scan straight to the numbers and miss the header entirely, which is how the wrong draw gets read.

What is the draw number on a Magnum 4D result?

The draw number is the reference code that identifies one specific Magnum 4D draw. Every draw gets its own number, and it never repeats. When you are comparing a ticket or an archived result against what is published, the draw number is the fastest way to confirm you are looking at the correct draw rather than a nearby one.

Magnum 4D runs three draws a week, so results stack up quickly. The draw number exists to keep them distinct. It is a unique reference attached to a single draw event, and no two draws share one.

This matters most around draw nights that fall close together. Saturday and Sunday results sit next to each other in any archive, and the numbers themselves offer no clue about which draw they came from. The draw number removes the ambiguity.

When you load a past result through the date selector on this site, the draw number loads with it. Treat it as the label on the result rather than part of the result. It carries no bearing on the winning numbers and is not something anyone plays.

How do I read the draw date on a Magnum 4D result?

The draw date is the calendar day the draw took place. Magnum 4D draws are held on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday each week, with results published officially around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM on draw nights. If a result card shows a date that is not one of those three days, you are looking at a different operator's result.

The draw date pairs with the draw number to pin down exactly which draw a result belongs to. It is the plainest field on the card and the one most people check first.

Magnum 4D operates on a fixed weekly rhythm: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Draw activity runs roughly between 6:55 PM and 8:30 PM MYT, with official publication of the Magnum result typically landing in the 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM window. This page updates as soon as the numbers are out.

One common source of confusion is late-evening checking. If you open results shortly before 7:00 PM on a draw night, the most recent card on screen may still be the previous draw. Read the date before reading the numbers. Malaysia has several independently licensed 4D operators, including Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai, Sabah 4D, Sandakan, Cash Sweep, 8Lucky and Perdana 4D, and each runs its own draw with its own winning numbers. A Magnum result card only ever carries Magnum numbers.

What are the five prize tiers on a Magnum 4D result?

Magnum 4D results are organised into exactly five tiers: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize, which are one number each, then Special with 10 numbers and Consolation with 10 numbers. That totals 23 winning numbers per draw. No other tier exists in Malaysian 4D, and the structure is identical for every draw.

The top three tiers sit at the head of the card. 1st Prize, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize each hold a single four-digit number. These are the three most prominent entries and usually appear in larger type or a highlighted block.

Below them sits the Special category, which contains 10 four-digit numbers. Below that sits Consolation, which also contains 10 numbers. Together with the top three, that accounts for all 23 numbers published per draw.

Order within the Special and Consolation blocks carries no ranking. All 10 entries in Special hold the same tier position, and the same applies to Consolation. The numbers are simply laid out in a grid for readability. A number appearing in the first slot of the Special block is not ranked above one in the last slot.

This five-tier structure is the complete set. If you see a result presentation anywhere claiming additional tiers for a standard Magnum 4D draw, it does not match the official format.

How do bet types relate to the tiers shown on the card?

The result card shows winning numbers only, not bet types. Magnum 4D payouts depend on whether a Big or Small bet was placed and on the stake amount. A Big bet covers all five tiers. A Small bet offers higher payouts on 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize but does not cover the Special and Consolation categories.

A frequent misreading is treating the tier list as a payout table. It is not. The card reports which four-digit numbers were drawn in each tier. What a given number is worth depends on the bet placed on it.

On a Big bet of RM 1, the standard Magnum 4D payout is RM 3,300 for 1st prize, RM 2,000 for 2nd prize and RM 500 for 3rd prize, with Special paying RM 180 and Consolation paying RM 60. A Small bet pays more on the top three tiers but returns nothing on Special or Consolation, because those two categories are outside its coverage.

So the same number appearing in the Consolation block means one thing to a Big bet and nothing to a Small bet. The card itself stays neutral. It publishes the draw outcome and leaves the bet-type arithmetic to the player.

Magnum also runs Magnum Life and Magnum Gold+ alongside the regular 4D game. Those are separate games with their own result presentation and are not part of the 23-number 4D tier block.

How do I pull up an older Magnum 4D result card?

Use the historical results tool on the Magnum 4D results page. Select a past draw date and the full prize breakdown for that draw loads, including the draw number and all 23 winning numbers across the five tiers. Archived cards use exactly the same layout as the current result, so nothing needs to be re-learned.

Past draws are retrieved by date. Pick the date you want and the corresponding card loads with its draw number, draw date and complete tier breakdown. Because Magnum draws only on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, those are the only dates that return a Magnum result.

When working through an archive, the draw number is the field to anchor on. Dates can be mistyped and weekends run consecutive draws, but a draw number belongs to one draw and one draw only.

4D Result Online is an independent results information service and is not affiliated with Magnum or any other lottery operator. Magnum 4D is a licensed, authorised operator, and its results are broadcast officially by Magnum before being published here. Everything shown on this site is provided for informational and entertainment purposes. For any claim or dispute, the official Magnum result stands as the record.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many winning numbers does one Magnum 4D draw produce?

Each Magnum 4D draw produces 23 winning numbers. That breaks down as one number each for 1st Prize, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize, then 10 numbers in the Special category and 10 numbers in Consolation. The total is the same for every draw, on every draw day, with no variation in the structure.

Does the order of numbers inside the Special block mean anything?

No. All 10 numbers in the Special category hold the same tier position, and the same applies to the 10 numbers in Consolation. They are laid out in a grid purely for readability. A number in the first position is not ranked higher or worth more than one in the last position within the same tier.

What time are Magnum 4D results published?

Magnum 4D draws take place on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, with draw activity running roughly between 6:55 PM and 8:30 PM MYT. Results are published officially around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM on draw nights. This site updates its Magnum result card as soon as the official numbers are released and verified.

Can a Magnum 4D result card show the same numbers as another operator?

No. Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai, Sabah 4D, Sandakan, Cash Sweep, 8Lucky and Perdana 4D are each independently licensed operators running their own draws with their own winning numbers. A Magnum 4D result card only ever carries Magnum numbers. Always confirm the operator name, draw number and draw date before reading any result.

Why does the result card not show how much a number paid out?

The card reports the draw outcome, not individual payouts. What a winning number returns depends on the bet type placed on it and the stake amount. A Big bet covers all five tiers, while a Small bet pays more on the top three prizes but does not cover the Special and Consolation categories at all.
